FIELD TRIP!

We believe that play is foundational to healthy development and learning throughout childhood. We invite you and your students to visit the museum for a day of fun-filled, hands-on exploration by booking a field trip with us. Check out the details below!

YOUR DAY OF PLAY

  • Exhibits
    Field Trips will have access to 6–8 interactive exhibits designed to inspire creativity, critical thinking, and collaborative play. Learn more!
  • Group Size
    Field trips are available to groups of 15 or more. If your group is larger than 100 students, we encourage you to book the field trip in smaller groups over multiple days for the most play-filled experience.
  • Supervision
    We require a 1:4 adult-to-child supervision ratio to support field trip experiences.
  • Availability
    Field trips are currently available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. All field trips must be booked at least four weeks in advance to ensure availability and proper staffing.
  • Ages
    Our exhibits are thoughtfully designed with developmental needs in mind, offering enriching experiences for children Preschool - Second Grade.
  • Cost
    Field trips are offered at a special group rate of $10 per person. Admission is free for the number of adults required to meet the supervision ratio. Payment is due on the date of your visit.
Needs-Based Scholarships

Thanks to grant support, we offer reduced admission rates based on the percentage of students in your group who qualify for free or reduced-price meals:

  • 30–49% of students eligible: Admission is $8 per person
  • 50% or more of students eligible: Admission is $5 per person
