Noon Year’s Eve

Ring in the New Year — without staying up late!

Celebrate the New Year with traditions from all seven continents! Join us for a kid-friendly Noon Year’s Eve filled with global music, games, crafts, and a joyful countdown — no late bedtime required.

 
All-Morning Activities (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM)

Explore the museum and enjoy hands-on activities available throughout the morning:

  • Red Envelope Wishes – Make a wish for the new year!

  • Green Grape Bean Bag Toss – Inspired by cultural traditions, this game is a playful way to bring good luck.

  • New Year–Themed Arts & Crafts – Create something festive to start your year with creativity.

  • Photo Booth – Strike a pose! Snap a fun New Year photo with your family or friends.

 

Scheduled Activities

  • African Drumming Sessions
    Location: Teaching Kitchen
    Short interactive drumming sessions every 15 minutes from 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM.
    Limited to 10 participants per session.

  • Name Drawing Entries Open
    Enter for a chance to win a prize!
    Entry time: 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM

 

Noon Disco Ball Drop

Who needs midnight? Join us at noon for a sparkling disco ball drop, a burst of confetti, and a joyful dance party made just for kids and families.

 

General Admission is $14, Museums for All $5, GRCM members FREE. No registration required. Admission is good for the full day!
