YOUR DAY OF PLAY

  • Exhibits
    Field trip crews will embark on a self-guided learning adventure among our 6–8 interactive exhibits, which are designed to inspire creativity, critical thinking, and collaborative play. Learn more!
  • Ages
    Our exhibits are thoughtfully designed with developmental needs in mind, offering enriching play-based experiences, especially for groups of children in Preschool - Second Grade.
  • Group Size
    Field trips are available for groups with at least 15 paid admissions. If your group is larger than 100 students, we encourage you to book your field trip over multiple days. Smaller crew? Rather than booking a field trip, contact us about special group visit rates.
  • Cost
    Field trips are offered at a special group rate of $10 per person. Admission is free for the number of adults required to meet the supervision ratio. Payment is due on the date of your visit.
  • Availability
    Field trips are currently available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. All field trips must be booked at least four weeks in advance to ensure availability and proper staffing.
  • Lunch & Visit Length
    Looking to rest and refuel during your visit? We have space for you to eat lunch onsite. With lunch included, we recommend visits lasting 3-4 hours.
  • Supervision
    We require a 1:4 adult-to-child supervision ratio to support field trip experiences. To support a carefree Day of Play, adults assigned to each small group of children will receive a rotation schedule upon arrival to guide travel throughout the exhibits.
  • Needs-Based Scholarships
    Thanks to grant support, we offer reduced admission rates based on the percentage of students in your group who qualify for free or reduced-price meals:
    30–49% of students eligible: Admission is $8 per person
    50% or more of students eligible: Admission is $5 per person
